Preparation Destinatari:
- insegnanti di ogni ordine e grado che insegnino la loro lingua come LS o L2, oppure lingue straniere (per le lingue comprese nel programma)
- futuri insegnanti di lingue
I corsisti riceveranno, un mese prima dell’avvio delle attività, il programma dettagliato con i contenuti, una breve bibliografia e filmografia e tutte le informazioni di carattere organizzativo.

Objectives Il corso si prefigge l’obiettivo di formare i corsisti sulle principali metodologie e strategie di insegnamento / traduzione delle lingue europee (inglese, francese, spagnolo, italiano, tedesco) e extraeuropee (russo, arabo, cinese, giapponese) tramite l’uso di film, o sezioni di film, nelle varie lingue del Corso.
Saranno previste sezioni di formazione per gruppi linguistici tramite la visione di filmati in lingua originale e/o con sottotitoli.

Obiettivi specifici:
- perfezionamento linguistico nelle lingue comprese nel Corso
- promozione delle lingue e delle culture contemplate nel Corso
- training alle più diffuse tecniche di traduzione interlinguistica e intersemiotica
- formazione glottodidattica all’uso dell’audiovisivo e del film
- progettazione e realizzazione di contenuti di apprendimento per pubblici specifici tramite il film
- perfezionamento sulle tecniche di doppiaggio e sottotitolaggio a finalità didattica

Methodology Le lezioni del mattino serviranno a fornire il quadro epistemologico utile per affrontare da varie prospettive il linguaggio cinematografico, con particolar riguardo agli aspetti della traduzione in tutte le sue forme (interlinguistica, intralinguistica e intersemiotica), ai fini dell’acquisizione di competenze specifiche nella gestione didattica del film in lingua originale. Sarà comunque garantita l’esposizione orale o scritta dei relatori, in inglese o in italiano.

Le lezioni del pomeriggio si focalizzeranno sulle singole lingue e culture coinvolte (italiano, inglese, francese, spagnolo, tedesco, russo, giapponese, cinese, arabo) e saranno organizzate in sessioni (anche parallele) di addestramento pratico per ciascuna lingua prevista nel progetto. Nella richiesta i partecipanti dovranno indicare in ordine decrescente le loro preferenze per un massimo di 3 lingue. I docenti formatori sono esperti di fama internazionale nelle tematiche oggetto del corso

Follow-up Ai partecipanti verrà richiesto di compilare un questionario finale di valutazione del corso che servirà da base per il perfezionamento e miglioramento dell’offerta formativa futura.

Preparation Addressees:
• All types of teachers teaching their mother language as a foreign or second language, or teaching foreign languages (for the languages involved in the programme)
• Future foreign language teachers (for the languages involved in the programme)
A month before activities begin participants in the course will receive the detailed programme with the course’s contents, a short bibliography and filmography and all information regarding the course’s organization.

Objectives The course aims at training the participants in the main methodologies and strategies of learning and translating regarding European (English, Italian, Spanish, German, French) and non-European Languages (Russian, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese) using films, or parts of films, in the various course’s languages.
Training sessions will be formed according to the different languages chosen, in which the participants will watch films in the original language.
Specific objectives:
• Language improvement in the languages involved in the course
• Promotion of languages and cultures involved in the course
• Training in the most widespread techniques of interlinguistic and intersemiotic translation
• Didactic Training in the use of the audiovisual medium and of the film
• Projecting and realising learning contents for specific publics through the film
• Training in dubbing and subtitling techniques with didactic aim.

Methodology The morning lessons aim at providing students with the epistemological basis to deal with the language of the films from different perspectives. They will be specially focused on all translational aspects, including interlinguistic, intralinguistic and intersemiotic translation, in order to provide the students with specific competences in the didactics of films in the original languages. An oral or written presentation (in English or in Italian) of the film will in any case be given.
The afternoon lessons will focus on the individual languages and cultures (Italian, English, French, Spanish, German, Russian, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic) and will consist of training sessions (which may also be held in parallel sessions ), in the individual languages involved. In the application form participants must indicate their preference for a maximum of three languages (in a decreasing order of interest ). The teacher trainers are internationally renowned experts in the various subjects of the course.

Follow-up Participants will be asked to fill in a final evaluation form of the course, which will be of help to correct and improve future training offer.

Il programma delle lezioni sarà svolto nel corso di una settimana, per un totale di 40 ore. Le lezioni saranno sia in inglese (metodologia generale) che nelle lingue interessate (applicazioni specifiche per le singole lingue). Saranno chiamati a svolgere le lezioni esperti internazionali e esperti interni all’Università per Stranieri di Siena.

ENGLISH: The lessons’ programme will be carried out during a week, for all together 40 hours. Lessons will be held both in English (general methodology) and in the involved languages (specific applications for the single languages). International experts and experts of the University for Foreigners in Siena will hold the lessons.
