CONVOCATORIA

La revista Pasavento invita al envío de ensayos para el monográfico “Intermedialidad en el ámbito hispánico actual”. Se aceptarán trabajos que aborden alguno de los siguientes temas: enfoques teóricos y estrategias críticas en torno a la intermedialidad; diálogos y tensiones entre distintas tradiciones y disciplinas artísticas; aspectos y procesos de la traducción intersemiótica e intercultural; formas híbridas y multimedia (novela gráfica, acciones e instalaciones artísticas, ciberliteratura, poesía visual); transmedialidad y cultura digital en las artes escénicas (video mapping, hipermedia, teatro ciborg, teatro de robots, hiperdrama); reflexión teórica sobre la relación género/medio en la era digital; vigencia y usos de diversas nociones genéricas (realismo, fantástico, distópico, maravilloso) en distintas manifestaciones artísticas y en distintos formatos mediáticos; literatura y tecnología; estética y política de las prácticas transmediales.

CALL FOR PAPERS

The scholarly journal Pasavento calls for papers to be published in the dossier “Intermediality in the Contemporary Spanish-Speaking World”. We are interested in papers that address any of the following topics: theoretical and critical approaches to intermediality; dialogues and tensions among different disciplines and artistic traditions; aspects and processes of intersemiotic and intercultural translation; hybrid and multimedia forms (graphic novel, performance art, cyberliterature, visual poetry); transmediality and digital culture in the performing arts (video mapping, hypermedia, cyborg-theater, robot-theater, hyperdrama); theoretical reflection on the relation genre/medium in the digital age; uses of different generic notions (realism, the fantastic, dystopic, marvelous) across various artistic practices as well as in different media; literature and technology; asthetics and politics of transmedial practices.
