The workshop will revisit research questions envisaged by the first edition of this workshop held at the University of Trento, Italy, in September 2014. The interplay between prosody and informational units of speech shall be at the heart of the meeting, with a special focus set on interaction, corpora of spontaneous speech data, and perspectives of application. Once again the event aims to gather researchers from a variety of theoretical backgrounds and approaches. Fostering the exchange between scholars working in different frameworks is one key goal of the workshop. While the presentations are mainly focused on topics regarding prosody, information structure and interaction in Romance and German, the gathering is open to the discussion of issues going beyond the scope of those languages.
