Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter / Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin (m/w/d) im Bereich Romanische Philologie (Pre- oder Post-Doc)

Das sind Ihre Aufgaben:

Selbständige Forschungs- und Publikationstätigkeit mit dem Ziel der wissenschaftlichen Qualifizierung in Form einer Promotion bzw. einer Habilitation oder habilitationsäquivalenter Leistungen

Durchführung von Lehrveranstaltungen im Bereich der Romanischen Philologie im Umfang von 2,5 SWS

Mitwirkung an den Forschungstätigkeiten der Professur (z.B. Exkursionen, Tagungen, Forschungs- und Publikationsprojekte)

Prüfungs- und Studienberatungs- sowie allgemeine Koordinationstätigkeiten

Das sind Sie:

überdurchschnittlich abgeschlossenes Universitätsstudium in Romanischer Philologie (Staatsexamen, Master oder international vergleichbarer Abschluss)
bzw. exzellente Promotion in Romanischer Philologie, Sprachwissenschaft oder Fachdidaktik

Forschungsinteressen im Bereich der von der Professur vertretenen Schwerpunkte ((Fremd-)Spracherwerb, Lernerkorpora, Mehrsprachigkeit und Herkunftssprachen, Kognitive Linguistik, Psycholinguistik, Textlinguistik; Varietäten, Multimodalität, Wissenschaftsgeschichte)

Sehr gute Kenntnisse in einer romanischen Sprache (Französisch, Spanisch oder Italienisch); gute Englisch- und/oder Deutschkenntnisse sowie Kenntnisse in einer weiteren romanischen Sprache sind willkommen

Das ist unser Angebot:

Die nach TV-L E13 vergütete Stelle ist ab 01.10.2025 in Teilzeit (50%; 20,05 Wochenstunden) zu besetzen; der Vertrag ist zunächst auf drei Jahre befristet und beinhaltet die Option einer Verlängerung um weitere drei Jahre.

Research Associate (m/f/d) in the Field of Romance Philology

Your Tasks
Independent Research and Publication:
Conduct your own research and publish with the goal of achieving academic qualification – obtaining a doctorate for the pre-doctoral position or a habilitation (or equivalent achievements) for the postdoctoral position.

Teaching:
Deliver courses in Romance Philology corresponding to 2.5 semester hours per week.

Participation in Research Activities:
Contribute to the research efforts of the professorship (e.g., excursions, conferences, research and publication projects).

Examinations, Study Advising, and Coordination:
Undertake examination and academic advising tasks as well as general coordination activities within the professorship.

This Is You
• Academic Qualifications:
You have an above-average university degree in Romance Philology (State Examination, Master’s, or an internationally comparable qualification), or in the case of applying for the postdoctoral position, an excellent doctoral degree in Romance Philology, Linguistics, or Subject Didactics.
• Research Interests:
Your research interests align with the professorship’s focal points, which include (foreign) language acquisition, learner corpora, multilingualism and heritage languages, cognitive linguistics, psycholinguistics, text linguistics; as well as language varieties, multimodality, and the history of science.
• Language Skills:
You possess very good knowledge of a Romance language (French, Spanish, or Italian); good command of English and/or German is required, and proficiency in an additional Romance language is welcome.

Our Offer
• Position Details:
The position (compensation according to TV-L, E13) is available on a part-time basis (50%; 20.05 weekly hours) starting from October 1, 2025. The initial contract is for three years with the option of an extension for an additional three years.
