DARIAH-IT Summer School "Models for Open Access Publishing" at Villa Vigoni
The first DARIAH-IT International DH Summer School will be hosted at Villa Vigoni. German-Italian Centre for European Excellence (Via Giulio Vigoni, 1 – 22017 Loveno di Menaggio, CO, Italy) from June 9 to June 11, 2015.
The three days long summer school will focus on multiple aspects of open access publishing. Experts in open access, librarians, archivists, linguists, jurists, editors and publishers will present and discuss the future of the book from their perspective in order to provide a comprehensive and useful landscape and gap analysis of this most delicate ecological system.
A short summary plan for the summer school can be found here, summary plan. The summer school is aimed primarily at Ph.D. and post-doctoral researchers and others with advanced knowledge of humanities research. The language of the seminars and discussion will be English.
